SEO probably isn't what you think it is. At least, it isn't what a lot of self-proclaimed "SEO Experts" think it is.
It isn't inundating readers with key words and constant posting. It isn't exploiting metadata. It isn't baiting your audience to click in. True Search Engine Optimization is achieved when your website (and all associated social media) have quality interactions—interactions consistent with people who are going to buy your product or service. Doing your thing well, communicating about it honestly and enthusiastically, and truly having empathy for your customer/client/audience. Content—web pages, blogs, social media activity, etc.—should not be developed haphazardly. It should be done carefully and strategically, always with the end goal of getting people to "close the deal," buy more than once, and/or recommend you and your product to others. Content should also not be developed in isolation of the overall brand identity. It should align with you and your company's core values and remain consistent. Your customers don't interact with buttons, computers, and screens. Nor do they interact with websites. They interact with people and they interact with brands. If you already have a solid brand identity with clear goals and a defined target audience, your content should always point to those elements and lead your target audience to buy. And that's what I do. I help businesses better understand their identity, develop their brand, develop their marketing strategies, customize teams and processes, and maintain timelines and customer service. I provide content services to ensure your target audience gets the message, finds their way to take action, seals the deal, and then goes on to promote your business/service. Let's talk about where you are, where you want to be, and how I can help you get there! |
